|About the Foundation|
The Phi Kappa Sigma Foundation supports the development of ethical leaders and cultivates a lifelong commitment to the educational and charitable missions of Phi Kappa Sigma by: supporting educational and leadership programming initiatives, providing scholarships to support academic achievement, and enabling members and friends to support these programs through tax-deductible contributions. Through these efforts we help the Fraternity strengthen and grow its membership and provide the best membership experience possible.
For our Fraternity to grow we must nurture and care for the things that we love.
Each year the Phi Kappa Sigma Foundation is able to provide support through:
The Foundation is a separate entity from the Fraternity and is a charitable IRS 501(c)(3) organization, enabling many donors to make their contributions to the Foundation tax-deductible.
The Phi Kappa Sigma Foundation began as the Phi Kappa Sigma Educational Fund in 1953 to provide scholarships to needy and worthy Phi Kappa Sigma members.
Board of Directors
The Phi Kappa Sigma Foundation is run by a Board of Directors made up of Brothers serving on a 100% voluntary basis. The Board is made up of approximately 20 alumni who manage the Foundation assets, coordinate giving programs, and annually fund leadership development programs and scholarship opportunities that impact the lives of our undergraduate members.
For all alumni and active members, the Annual Giving Program, coordinated by the Foundation, provides an opportunity to make tax-deductible gifts which allow great opportunities to happen in our Fraternity.
By making a gift to the Phi Kappa Sigma Foundation, we grow our Fraternity’s unique ability to deliver state-of-the-art leadership programs that enhance our core values – Trust, Honor, Respect, Knowledge, Wisdom, Responsibility and Integrity. Each gift makes a decisive and positive difference in the lives of all Phi Kappa Sigma undergraduate members.
